Donations

Over the years the Fund has received many donations through legacies, bequests and ad hoc payments. Between January and September 2007 over 650 members donated nearly £20,000 to the Fund.

The RSC thanks those who have made donations: their generosity has benefited many who are in need.

How do I donate to the Benevolent Fund?

Members can make a donation to the Benevolent Fund through the membership subscription process by adding an amount to the subscription form and this can also be maximised through the use of Gift Aid.

Local Sections and Interest Groups also make important contributions during the year.

Beneficiary Feedback

Dr Z

"I would like to thank you, the Committee and all those who give gifts to the Benevolent Fund. The financial help you have given in allowing me to obtain care on a regular basis has made such a huge difference to my life.

I can now look and almost feel like the average person. It has allowed me to spend some quality time with my son without additional excruciating pain (just manageable pain)."

"I am particularly grateful to the Fund for putting the volunteer visitor in touch with us.  He has been a source of huge support and has made all the difference to us in our current and recent situation.

I wanted to pass this on to you:  it is wonderful to know that the Fund has such fantastic people to call on for local help for members in need."
