Getting Started
When you become a member of ChemNet you won't automatically be added to the Discussion Board. You need to tell us you want to be signed up
Email us with your preferred username (anything you like really- within reason), your name and ChemNet membership number and you will be emailed your username and password to gain access to the discussions. Once you log in, you can change your username and password, but not your Email address.

The discussion topics (called conferences) appear down the left of your screen
To take part in a particular discussion, click on the topic then use the post option to add your message
If you don't want people to see your name and email address, simply check the anonymous option at the top of the screen when you are composing your message for posting. However, the board managers have access to these details and anyone who misuses the board will be removed from it.
You can use the search option at the top of the board to find topics or other people taking part in the discussion
When you've finished, remember to log off
