The fee is just £15 for membership until August 2012 or £20 for membership until August 2013. 

RSC members can nominate eligible members of their family to join at no cost as part of their RSC membership package.

    • Chemistry World; the award winning chemistry magazine from the RSC, full of the latest chemistry news and opinion. It's even got a jobs section so that you can see the opportunities available to chemistry graduates
    • ChemNet News; a monthly newsletter, packed full of chemistry and other web links for you
    • InfoChem every two months. This eight-page full colour magazine is compiled specifically for those with an interest in the chemical sciences, and is full of chemistry from our everyday lives.   2. Attend a ChemNet event. It could be a lecture or visit to a university chemistry lab, or take a look around a company that uses chemistry at the heart of their business
  3. Access to university ChemSocs and RSC local sections. Both are great sources of information about careers and making those tough university choices
  4. The ChemNet group on my RSC includes blogs and a discussion board open to all members. Chat and hang out with other members. Coursework and revision stressing you out? Ask for help from ChemNet and the RSC library

RSC ChemNet Family Offer


The family member should be over 16 and studying chemistry at school or college prior to going to university and can be a child, grandchild or niece/nephew of the RSC member.
