Meet the Universities - Only from ChemNet

A big thanks to the 165 ChemNet members and their teachers and parents who helped make this our best event of the year. We hope those of you who came found it useful. It was heartening to see so many of you, all talking chemistry. Feedback from the Universities who attended has been excellent; they were very impressed with the enthusiasm of ChemNet members so thanks for everyone who came.

ChemNet members got to talk to 20 universities and attended seminars on applying through UCAS, interview skills and techniques. There was also a chance to attend a real undergrad lecture, from St Andrews University and Manchester Universities. Lucy Miller, a ChemNet member from last year, came to talk about the experiences of her first year at University.

We hope everyone enjoyed the freebies, they'll be available at other ChemNet events in the new school year, and we hope you didn't put your shoulders out carrying all of those prospectuses home.
