The Agriculture Sector is one of the RSC's many Interest Groups. The Interest Groups are member driven groups which exist to benefit RSC members, and the wider chemical science community, in line with the RSC's strategy and charter.
- To support professional members of the Sector and the RSC
- To encourage links between academic, research and industrial organisations
- To assist in the formulation of the RSC's position papers on Government action in the agriculture sector
The Agriculture Sector aims to achieve these goals by organising meetings and conferences, which provide a forum for the discussion and exchange of ideas in areas of interest to members.
We also have an online community, which is based on MyRSC, for anyone who shares our interests.
The Committee welcomes comments and information from Sector members, since this facilitates the provision of more effective advice, information and support for members through the RSC. We are always looking for new members who are keen to get involved and to help organise our activities. If you would like to find out more please contact the Secretary.
