AMC Discussions

• AMC Discussions is a facility that allows analytical chemists to have their say about topics of current interest to the profession

• The topics will normally be unresolved technical issues falling within the terms of reference of the AMC 

• AMC Discussions is a managed site and the manager, while not restricting the scope of scientific discussion, will not authorise the display of items that are irrelevant or unprofessional

• Conferences are instigated and terminated at the discretion of the AMC. If you wish to suggest a topic for a new conference, just post a message

• Opinions expressed are not necessarily those of the AMC of the Analytical Division of the RSC

Join in the discussion

1. Select a topic (called a 'Conference'), read the document that started the discussion and any comments subsequently posted
2. If you wish to add a comment of your own, log in entering a username and password
3. Select the message you wish to comment on
4. Click on the reply button at the bottom of the message (if you wish to remain anonymous to other Board users, check the Anonymous box)
5. Type in your comments
6. Click on the 'Post' button    

Receive new posts by email

New messages can be sent directly to your email inbox which means you do not have to keep checking the discussion board.

1. Login to the discussion board
2. Choose Options from the top of the screen
3. Choose My Mailing Lists
4. Tick the boxes to receive new messages by email and then Save
