ESR Spectroscopy Group

The ESR Spectroscopy Group was formed in the early 1960s as a forum for scientists to share, disseminate and promote knowledge about electron magnetic resonance phenomena. The Group organises a yearly international symposium which is usually held in the Spring. Prizes are awarded to highlight excellence and encourage promising younger scientists. The Group is affiliated to the Royal Society of Chemistry and associates with other national Groups via the ESR Group

Mission Statement

The main aim of the ESP Group is to promote innovation, advance knowledge and encourage applications of Electron Spin Resonance Spectroscopy, and its many allied techniques, amongst workers from a broad range of sciences.

The ESR Group web site provides further information about ESR spectroscopy, the history and development of the technique and about other Group activities.
