ITD Small Business Activities
We recognise that supporting entrepreneurship and small businesses is key to the future of innovation in the chemical sciences and so maintain a range of activities in this area. These fall into three main areas: events, policy and publicity.
Networking Events
We are increasing the frequency of our successful Support for Small Companies events to meet demand and also developing some new events looking at the needs and constraints of the early and established SMEs within the chemical science community.
Industry Connect: Support for Small Science Companies
Policy
The RSC has a well-established and widespread policy programme which is constantly growing and moving forward to keep you informed on current scientific issues. Recent responses include a consultation response on the £1 billion Regional Growth Fund.
Publicity
June ‘06 saw the launch of a new section in the RSC website dedicated to supporting and meeting the needs of the chemical science small business sector.
