Elections to the Materials Chemistry Forum Executive: Closing Date Extended
11 March 2008
This year, the Materials Chemistry Forum (MCF) will be holding elections for the available positions on the Executive Committee. Last year the Forum Executive decided to change the way it conducts its elections to encourage interested individuals to stand and to move away from Committee nominations. The election was a real success and we hope that this year, the number of nominations and the turn-out will be even better.
Ordinary Member
There are two positions available and the current term of office is three years. Ordinary members are expected to attend the three meetings of the Forum each year in London and to take on some other defined roles within the Forum Executive.OK - I'm convinced, what next?
If this has sold it all to you, we would like to have your name and contact details and a short statement of why you wish to join the Forum Executive, plus the names of a proposer and seconder. This information can be sent on the form below, indicating which position you wish to stand for, to Dr Sean McWhinnie at the RSC by 18th April 2008. Voting will take place during May with those candidates who are elected taking up their positions following the RSC's AGM in July 2008.
