Research Interests:
Chris is Team Leader of Target Class Informatics, Molecular Sciences, Astra Zenca R&D. His interests include bioinformatics, sequence analysis, proteomics, proteases, protein chemistry and HPLC. Previous positions include Proteome Discovery Bioinformatician at Oxford GlycoSciences, Head of Computational Biology at Gemini Genomics and Senior Investigator, Bioinformatics Target Discovery, SmithKline Beecham. He was also recently appointed as an honorary Special Professor of Proteomics at the University of Nottingham Department of Biosciences. Publications can be retrieved from PubMed using "Southan C".
