Tertiary Education Group
The Tertiary Education Group is one of the RSC's many Interest Groups. The Interest Groups are member driven groups which exist to benefit RSC members, and the wider chemical science community, in line with the RSC's strategy and charter.
Aim
- To provide a forum for the fruitful discussion of the teaching and learning of chemistry at Higher Education level.
- To support and promote the development, dissemination and wider use of effective teaching and learning activities.
- To promote the wider recognition of good work in chemical education at this level.
Activities
The Group organises an annual meeting, Variety in Chemistry Teaching, usually attended by around 100 academics, which includes poster presentations, software demonstrations, short oral presentations, interactive workshop sessions and informal discussion.Community
We also have an online community, which is based on MyRSC, for anyone who shares our interests.Get Involved
