Theoretical Chemistry Group
The Theoretical Chemistry Group is one of the RSC's many Interest Groups. The Interest Groups are member driven groups which exist to benefit RSC members, and the wider chemical science community, in line with the RSC's strategy and charter.
Aim
To promote the interests of theoretical and computational chemists and ensuring that the interests of its members are adequately represented in the activities of the RSC and other bodies.
Activities
- Members receive a newsletter twice a year.
- The Group usually has two half-day meetings each year: one of these is primarily educational with the aim of giving an overview of subject of topical interest and the other meeting gives final-year graduate students an opportunity to present their work.
Get Involved
We are always looking for new members who are keen to get involved and to help organise our activities. If you would like to find out more please contact the Secretary.
