The Bob Hay Lectureship

Nominations for the Bob Hay Lectureship 2008 are now open.

The Bob Hay Lectureship is awarded at the UK Macrocycles and Supramolecular Chemistry Group annual meeting.

This prestigious lecture is given annually by a younger chemist (normally under 40) working in the area of macrocyclic and/or supramolecular chemistry in its widest sense. The award lecture is given in memory of Professor Bob Hay, one of the pioneers of macrocyclic chemistry in the UK.

If you wish to be considered for the 2008 lectureship please forward a copy of your CV (including your date of birth, a full list of papers and a list of overseas conferences attended as an invited speaker) to Professor Thorfinnur Gunnlaugsson via the e-mail link below.  Letters of nomination are not required however it would help the committee if the candidate's top six papers are highlighted.

The winner will give the lecture at the meeting on the 16th-18th December 2008 at the University of Birmingham.

Nominations close at the end of October 2008.
