The Beijing Section of the RSC was formed in 2008 and the committee works closely with staff in the RSC office in Beijing.
Since its formation the RSC Beijing Section has organised a variety of activities, including:
- a visit to the State Key Laboratory of Chemical Resource Engineering in Beijing University of Chemical Technology for local high school students
- demonstration lectures in schools and universities
- a poster competition for Chemistry Week.
The RSC holds a number of events in China and offers benefits for CCS members
