Finland
The RSC Finnish Section was formed in 2008 with the purpose of providing a network for members living in Finland. Based primarily in the Helsinki capital area, activities include regular meetings and invited lectures as well as the annual end of year Sitsit party.

Chair Ben Wilson has a background in corrosion and electrochemistry and is currently working in Helsinki University of Technology. Ben has been an active RSC member for a number of years first whilst at Swansea University and, after living in both Germany and Belgium, in setting up the RSC Chemistry Network in Finland.
