Japan

Japan remains one of the leading countries in the world in chemistry research, with advances in clean energy and novel processes in materials and electronics.
The RSC signed an International Cooperation Agreement with the Chemical Society of Japan (CSJ) at the Japan UK Symposium: Catalysis for a Sustainable World which was held in London in July 2010.
This agreement should lead to many potential opportunities for the RSC to collaborate with its sister society in Japan.
