Analytical Chemistry for Sustainable Development

The Moroccan Association of Analytical Chemistry for Sustainable Development (AMCADD) is organising the first symposium on analytical chemistry and sustainable development at the University Hassan II's Faculty of Sciences and Technologies of Mohammedia in Morocco.

The symposium aims at bringing together researchers, scientists, engineers, and scholar students to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results about all aspects of analytical chemistry, and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted. 

The invited lectures have been selected to reflect the broad range of research interests giving attendees exposure to a number analytical science applications.

Symposium topics include:

• Spectroscopic methods (Raman, IR, Optical absorption, XPS ....)
• Electroanalysis
• Cosmetic and pharmaceutical analysis
• Food and environmental analysis            

Call for Abstracts

A major part of the meeting will be oral and poster contributions from students and researchers. Abstracts for oral and poster presentation are now invited. 

Oral papers will be allocated 20 minutes, of which presentation will occupy 15 minutes and discussion will take 5 minutes. Two people will chair each session. Poster papers will be provided with suitable presentation space to ensure authors are able to show and discuss their works.

All abstracts of symposium papers will be printed in advance and made available at the symposium. 

For full consideration, abstracts must be received by 20 December 2009.  Brief abstracts should be emailed to ACSD2010 Symposium. Notices of abstract acceptance will be sent by 20 January 2009.  The deadline for registration is 10 February 2010.
