PACN Green Chemistry and Sustainability Workshop

The Pan Africa Chemistry Network ran this Satellite workshop as part of the 8th International Symposium on "New Trends in Chemistry" and the 2nd FASC (Federation of African Societies of Chemistry) Congress, "Chemistry and National Development."

The day was split in to two sessions:

  • Speakers from South Africa, the USA and Egypt gave varied and interesting presentations on the different aspects of Education in Green Chemistry.

  • The following session brought together speakers from the UK, Kuwait and Ethiopia to present on the use of Green Chemistry in Renewables.
