Water Futures: Academia and Industry Forum

To inform, To Network & To Partner

The RSC were co-organisers of three symposia held in October 2009 in Malaysia and Singapore.  The symposia formed part of a Water Sector Seminar Visit by the UK Trade & Investment.  Together the symposia aim to facilitate business links and scientific collaboration between Malaysia and Singapore and the UK.

Malaysia and Singapore are two of the largest growing economies in their region.  They are reforming and developing water and wastewater services, creating new and innovative infrastructure and introducing regulation.  There are many opportunities for the three countries to learn from each other and collaborate in this area.

Receptions were held for RSC Members in both Malaysia and Singapore during this time, whilst representatives from the UK were visiting.
