There are 35 Local Sections throughout the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. Each has its own programme of activities, which typically cover the following themes:
- Scientific lectures
- Public lectures
- Schools demonstrations
- Social activities
Each Local Section has a committee which meets several times each year to discuss ideas and initiatives to meet the needs of local members.
All members are encouraged to participate in the activities of their Local Section. This could be as simple as submitting ideas and suggestions for meetings or joining the Committee.
If you would like to take part please contact your Local Section Secretary.
