Primary Schools Week

This is the International Year of Chemistry and the Section is participating in the Global Water Experiment.  Every Primary School in our area will be offered a free water testing kit along with experimental details and an offer of a "chemist for the day" (half a day for the smaller schools) to help the teacher deliver this exciting initiative.  Any member who would like to volunteer would be made very welcome.

All the results will be fed into the international database to produce a world-wide picture of the water quality on our planet.
