What’s your goal for the future?
Do you care passionately about the UK chemical industry and want to contribute to its sustainable development?
Could you become an ambassador for your company and your industry?
The purpose of this award is to identify outstanding young people working in the chemical industry and harness their ambassadorial, communication and leadership skills on behalf of the industry as a whole.
Regional winners will attract media attention, receive a cash prize and free training in communication skills.
The CIA and the sponsor will arrange a programme of activities for the national winner and submission of a nomination will be regarded as commitment in principle to fulfill this programme. Regional winners will also be expected to chair regional CIA Young Person’s Networks and will be invited to become involved in the activities of the sponsor.
Jennifer Clark is the 2007 national winner. She now has the opportunity to meet people and discuss important topics facing the industry that are outside of her normal day to day job. The responsibilities of winning the award will also help her communication, leadership and networking skills. She sees it as a fantastic opportunity that should not be missed.
