The award was presented to the agency staff (Maddy Marley, Jan Davies and Ann Ennis) by Loyd Grossman OBE (right) at the International Information Industry Awards Dinner in London on 1 December with William Hann (Managing Editor, FreePint, left) looking on.

The Agency gained this recognition by nomination and voting by the FreePint members, comprising over 70,000 information professionals globally.

The Agency runs an extensive number of workshops, conducts on-site visits and offers technical helpdesk facilities for companies and institutions who use the databases offered by STN International. STN is the world-renowned online host, which connects scientists and engineers to the world's most comprehensive and authoritative databases containing scientific, technical and patent information.
