The pre-reactive complex H2OClF identified in mixtures of water vapour and chlorine monofluoride by rotational spectroscopy

S. A. Cooke, G. Cotti, C. M. Evans, J. H. Holloway and A. C. Legon

A pre-reactive complex H2OClF of planar (C2v) or effectively planar (Cs) geometry is characterised for the first time in mixtures of water vapour and chlorine monofluoride through its rotational spectrum, as observed with a fast-mixing nozzle/Fourier-transform microwave spectrometer.
