Call for papers: Influence of Ionic Liquids on (Physico) Chemical Reactions

01 June 2009

PCCP is delighted to announce a high-profile themed issue on Influence of Ionic Liquids on (Physico) Chemical Reactions, Guest Edited by Professor Frank Endres (Technical University of Clausthal). The issue is scheduled for publication in February 2010. It is our pleasure to invite you to submit to this themed issue.

The aim of this themed issue is to encapsulate the state-of-the-art in research in ionic liquids. There are a rising number of publications now demonstrating that anions or cations can influence chemical and physicochemical reactions, and we feel there is now a rising understanding in the community that ionic liquids are not just liquids with interesting physical properties, they also can totally alter reaction pathways and products.

The purpose of this themed issue is to collect together in one place some of the latest exciting work in this area, as well as to review recent progress in this field. We believe such a themed issue is timely, and will make an important and lasting contribution to this area.

Deadline for Submission: 01 October 2009

Submissions, either communications or full papers, should be high-quality manuscripts of original, unpublished research, containing important new physical insight.

All submissions will be subject to rigorous peer review to meet the usual high standards of PCCP.

Manuscripts can be submitted using the ReSourCe web submissions service or as an email attachment to the PCCP Editorial Office. Please indicate on submission that your manuscript is intended for this themed issue.
