01 June 2009

As part of our promotional activities to highlight the success of the journal and recognise the latest outstanding new research in the fields of physical chemistry and chemical physics, PCCP is presenting a series of prizes at conferences throughout 2009.

Two PCCP Poster Prizes were awarded at the recent Operando III conference held in Rostock-Warnemünde, Germany which was held 19-23 April 2009. This was the third International Congress on Operando Spectroscopy and was entitled Recent Developments and Future Perspectives in Spectroscopy of Working Catalysts.

The winners were Elise Berrier (Université des Sciences et Technologies de Lille)  for her poster "Comparing UV and visible operando Raman: An effective tool for reduced catalyst analysis" and Davide Mores (Utrecht University)  with "Space- and Time-resolved In-Situ Spectroscopy on the Coke formation on H-SAPO-34 and H-ZSM-5 during the Methanol-to-Olefin Conversion"
