Call for papers: Solid State Structure Prediction
24 August 2009
PCCP is delighted to announce a high-profile themed issue on Solid State Structure Prediction, Guest Edited by Dr Scott Woodley and Professor Richard Catlow (University College London). It is our pleasure to invite you to submit to this themed issue.
The aim of this issue is to capture the current state-of-the art in the field of solid state structure prediction from a selection of research articles from leading researchers. The issue will include articles focussing on both technical developments and applications. Recent developments in methods for global search procedures will be highlighted, while articles focusing on applications will describe recent work in microporous materials, dense oxides, molecular crystals and hybrids, glassy silicas and silicates and metallic and oxide clusters.
The purpose of this themed issue is to collect together in one place some of the latest exciting work in this area, as well as to review recent progress in this field. We believe such a themed issue is timely, and will make an important and lasting contribution to this area.
Deadline for Submission: 8 March 2010
Submissions, either communications or full papers, should be high-quality manuscripts of original, unpublished research, containing important new physical insight.
All submissions will be subject to rigorous peer review to meet the usual high standards of PCCP.
Manuscripts can be submitted using the ReSourCe web submissions service or as an email attachment to the PCCP Editorial Office. Please indicate on submission that your manuscript is intended for this themed issue.
