Call for papers: Supraparticle Physical Chemistry
17 September 2009
PCCP is delighted to announce a high-profile themed issue on Supraparticle Physical Chemistry guest edited by Dayang Wang of the Max Planck Institute of Colloids & Interfaces. It is our pleasure to invite you to submit to this themed issue.
This themed issue will provide a synergy of synthesis, characterization, and theoretical modelling of collodial 'supraparticles'. It will cover a range of topics, including: the genesis of anisotropic structures and interactions of colloidal particles; molecular mimetic self-assembly of colloidal particles and theoretical modelling; and experimental and theoretical study of the collective electronic, photonic, magnetic, and mechanical properties of colloidal particles.
It is hoped that this themed issue will establish a solid physical chemistry ground for this new research to develop, and to evoke new concepts and methodologies for developing a new generation of chemistry and materials science at the mesoscopic level.
Deadline for Submission: 5 April 2010
Submissions, either communications or full papers, should be high-quality manuscripts of original, unpublished research, containing important new physical insight.
All submissions will be subject to rigorous peer review to meet the usual high standards of PCCP.
Manuscripts can be submitted using the ReSourCe web submissions service or as an email attachment to the PCCP Editorial Office. Please indicate on submission that your manuscript is intended for this themed issue.
