The RSC's new journal, Energy & Environmental Science, proved very popular with visitors to the RSC booth at the ACS National Meeting in New Orleans.
Editor Philip Earis and Professor Nathan Lewis, the chair of the Editorial Board, were delighted with the positive feedback they have received from delegates and visitors.
Many visitors were keen to sign up for e-alerts for the journal, in anticipation of the first issue which is due for publication later this year.
At the end of the meeting, a name was selected at random from the registrants. The lucky winner is Dr John Malin of Arlington, VA.
A solar powered charger for mobile phones, MP3 players and other mobile devices is on its way to him.
