Celebrating 21 years of publishing
In 2006 JAAS is celebrating 21 years of publishing high quality, innovative research. The highlight of these celebrations was an enjoyable mixer reception held at the Winter Conference on Plasma Spectrometry, Tucson, USA in January.

To complement this JAAS past, present and future will be discussed through a series of Editorials published throughout 2006, written by members of the Editorial board and other influential figures in the area of atomic spectrometry.
We have also taken this opportunity to look back over the last 21 years to uncover some of the gems published in JAAS; including past Editorials, the 21 most cited and important papers published in JAAS since 1986, and an Editor's Choice of papers authored by our Board members.
Read the Editorials published this year as part of our celebrations.
