The reaction of (µ-RS)(µ-p-MeC₆H₄SO₂S)Fe₂(CO)₆ with (⁵-R¹C₅H₄)(CO)₃MoSeNa gave organomolybdenum complexes (⁵-R¹C₅H₄)(CO)₂Mo(²-S₂R) (3a R=Et, R¹=H; 3b R=Bu^t, R¹=MeO₂C), the structure of 3b being determined by X-ray diffraction analysis.
