Free-flow electrophoresis separates nanoparticles fast and continuously with high yield. Low electric field ensures the integrity of the nanoparticles while maintaining the required resolution. Separated nanoparticles can be directly functionalized for use as molecular probes and diagnostic tools.

x
0.24–0.31 composed of ordered domains within a cation-disordered CoO rock salt solid solution. The binary phase diagrams of LixCo1-xO and phase W are reported in air and N2(g).

BFAn, which contains an anthracene core end-capped with 9-phenyl-9-fluorenyl groups, exhibits excellent EL performance. The efficiency of its non-doped OLEDs reaches as high as 5.1% (5.6 cd A-1) and 5.7 lm W-1, together with a satisfying blue emission [CIE coordinates: (0.15, 0.12)].

Relaxivity enhancement of a Gd(III) complex with a DOTA-like ligand was achieved after anchoring it onto a TiO2 nanoparticle. Phenylphosphonate in the ligand side chain was used for complete coverage of the surface.
