Highest ever impact factor for OBC
22 June 2009
The latest citation data released by Thomson ISI in June 2009 reveal that OBC's Impact Factor has risen by over 12% to its highest ever value of 3.550.

This significant result, combined with the journal's attractive mix of Perspectives, Emerging Areas, Communications and Full Papers, makes it clear to see why OBC is the journal of choice for publishing cutting-edge research of the highest quality in synthetic, physical and biomolecular organic chemistry.
The Impact Factor is a measure of the number of times an "average article" in a journal has been cited in a particular year. The impact factor for 2008 is calculated from the total number of citations given in 2008 to articles published in 2006 and 2007, divided by the number of articles published in 2006 and 2007.
