Professor Jeffrey Bode

Jeffrey Bode studied chemistry at Trinity University, the California Institute of Technology, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zürich, and the Tokyo Institute of Technology before starting his independent career in 2003. He is currently Professor of Chemistry at ETH Zürich in Switzerland. His research centres on the discovery and development of new organic reactions including chemoselective ligation reactions for peptide synthesis and new catalytic processes for C-N, C-O, and C-C bond formation. He has been a member of the OBC Editorial Board since 2009 and Chair since 2011.
