ChemComm International Symposia

A series of themed international one-day symposia reflecting topical areas of the chemical sciences

Polymers and polymers science

30 November 2007

The first ChemComm International Symposium, on the subject of Polymers and Polymer Science, will be held in China from 12-17th December 2007.

The symposium will comprise three one-day meetings:

Wednesday 12th  December

Comet
Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing

Friday 14th  December

Fudan University, Shanghai

Monday 17th December

Sun Yat-Sen University, Guangzhou

Attendance at the symposium is completely free. To register your interest or find out more, please contact Dr Chunxiao Zheng at the email address given at the base of this page.

ChemComm Editor Dr Sarah Thomas will be present at all three symposia, giving you chance to ask any questions you have regarding publishing in the journal and the RSC's activities.

Keynote speakers

Professor David Haddleton: "Combination of click chemistry, glyco reagents and copper mediated living radical polymerisation for polymers for bioconjugation"

David Haddleton is Professor of Chemistry at the University of Warwick, UK, and founder and Chief Technical Officer of Warwick Effect Polymers Ltd, a highly successful spin-off company. He is also a member of the ChemComm Editorial Board.
