ChemComm Chairman, Professor Peter Kündig, and Editorial Board members Professors Ben Feringa and Keiji Maruoka hosted a gala dinner at the 11th International Kyoto Symposium on Organic Chemistry (IKCOC) recently in Kyoto, Japan. Along with the Managing Editor, Dr Robert D. Eagling, they were joined by key Japanese dignitaries from the organising committee and some of the plenary speakers: Professors Baran, Torres, Li, Yoshida, Hayashi and Hiyama. 

Dr Eagling praised the organising committee for putting together such an excellent programme. 'It was fantastic,' commented Dr Eagling. 'It was great to meet up with so many of ChemComm's existing contacts - authors, readers and referees - and also forge new relationships with numerous top scientists.'

The ChemComm team will be out and about at a number of conferences in 2010. Keep an eye on the website for details.
