Celia grew up in Ilford, Essex and studied Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge, specialising in chemistry. After graduating in 2000 she stayed on in Cambridge to study for a PhD in organic chemistry with Stuart Warren. After completing her studies, she joined the ChemComm production team as a Trainee Technical Editor at the start of November 2004. In her spare time she enjoys cooking and painting and will often be found buried in a good book.
