Zhong-Qun Tian
Zhong-Qun Tian received a B. S. degree in Chemistry from Xiamen University, China in 1982. After obtaining a Ph. D. from University of Southampton in 1987, he returned to Xiamen University then was appointed as an Associate Professor of the State Key Laboratory for Physical Chemistry of Solid Surfaces in 1989, Professor in 1992 and Director in 2003. His main research interests are surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy, spectro-electrochemistry and nano-electrochemistry. He has received several major grants and prestigious awards in China. He is a Member of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, Titular Member of Division of Physical and Biophysical Chemistry of IUPAC, and the Chairman of the Chinese Electrochemical Society.
