The 2009 Chem Soc Rev Energing Investigator Lecture award will be presented to Matt Gaunt at the Organic Synthesis Symposium sponsored by AstraZeneca at Loughborough University on the 7th October 2009. 

Matt Gaunt, from the University of Cambridge, UK, was chosen by the Chem Soc Rev Editorial Board to receive this award which rewards emerging investigators in the early part of their independent academic career who have made a significant contribution to their research discipline. The award will be presented by Dr Robert Eagling, Editor of Chem Soc Rev.

The nominations for the 2010 Chem Soc Rev Lecture awards will be open in Autumn 2009.
