David Spring is currently an EPSRC Advanced Fellow at the University of Cambridge Chemistry Department. Previous to this appointment was a Wellcome Trust Postdoctoral Fellow and Fulbright Scholar at Harvard University with Professor Stuart L. Schreiber. He gained his DPhil for work on the proposed biosynthesis of the manzamine alkaloids at Oxford University under the supervision of Professor Sir Jack E. Baldwin FRS. David's research programme is focused on diversity-oriented synthesis, synthetic methodology and chemical genetics."
