Editorial Board
Jon Preece has been Professor of Nanoscale Chemistry at the Universityof Birmingham since 2004, and has been a member of academic staff since 1997. Previous to that he was a PhD Student with Prof Fraser Stoddart, FRS (1991-1994) and a postdoctoral fellow with Prof Helmut Ringsdorf in Mainz, Germany(1995-1996). The Preece group research interests are in the interdisciplinary area of nanoscale science, and in particular, how the interaction of chemistry with the physical and life sciences, as well as engineering can be utilised to create novel materials and processes with potential applications in the evolving area of nanotechnology.
