Announcing the 2005 Canadian Green Chemistry Medal

The Canadian Green Chemistry Medal is to recognise annually the outstanding contributions of individual(s) to the promotion and development of green chemistry internationally as well as in Canada. The winner will be presented with a citation recognizing the achievements together with a sculpture.
The 2006 winner will be presented the Medal on February 28, 2006 at 3pm at the Chemistry Department of McGill University in conjunction with a Boehringer-Ingelheim Lecture given by Prof. Ken Seddon (who pioneered the use of ionic liquids in chemistry) of the Queen's University in UK.
Call for nominations for the winner of the 2006 Canadian Green Chemistry Medal
Nominations of individual(s) worldwide are accepted and the deadline of nomination is April 1st each year. The Medal winner will be selected by the Canadian Chapter/Network of the Green Chemistry Institute and will be announced in May. All nominations are to be submitted to the Coordinator of the Canadian Green Chemistry Network, Prof. C. J. Li
