Journal of Materials Chemistry New Energy Materials.
25 July 2007
This superb theme issue of Journal of Materials Chemistry is guest edited by Professor M. Saiful Islam (University of Bath, UK).
One of the major challenges in the twenty-first century is the development of cleaner, sustainable sources of energy so it is now particularly timely to publish a focused set of articles covering the materials chemistry of energy-related applications. Issue 30 of Journal of Materials Chemistry highlights some of the latest research in energy conversion and storage technologies. It contains more than 20 articles on fuel cells, lithium-ion batteries, solar cells and hydrogen storage, including several feature, application and highlight articles.
