An NJC Interface Poster Prize was awarded to Yasmine Willener at the Zing Coordination Conference held recently in Cancun, Mexico. 

Yasmine, a Phd.D. student in the group of Jim Tucker at the University of Birmingham, won for her poster on ferrocene-based redox enantioselective sensors for chiral carboxylate anions. Her project includes synthesis, host-guest complexation and binding studies using a variety of techniques and the formation of self-assembled monolayers on gold. Congratulations to Yasmine for her award-winning work.
