The Editorials section in Soft Matter is a regular feature in which our illustrious Board Members have the opportunity to communicate directly with you, our readers, on matters of interest to a broad and interdisciplinary audience. They may write about diverse topics, from why the journal was founded to special research topics, and aim to provoke consideration.

On this page we have gathered together all the Editorials from the past year. This collection reflects the broad interdisciplinary remit of Soft Matter and of our aims and achievements to date. Soft Matter is intended to be a forum for discussion and these Editorials should promote that discussion.
