2.1 - Saving an image in EPS format

This is the prefered output format when using Origin. To make sure your image is saved in an RSC-compatible format, perform the following steps:

1. Once the illustration is finalised, print your image out as a final size and quality check.
2. From the "Tools" menu, click on "Options". In the window that appears, click on the "Page" tab, then set the available options as shown below. Click "OK".
   
   

   

   
   
3. From the "File" menu, click on "Export Page...". In the window that appears, select "Encapsulated Postscript (*.EPS)" from the file format drop-down menu, enter a meaningful file name (e.g. figure1.eps), and tick the "Show Export Options" (see below), then click on "Save".
   
   

   

   
   
4. In the "EPS Options" window that appears, set the options as shown below, then click "OK".
