Feature Articles are invited by the ChemComm Editorial Board. You are asked to assess the paper, paying particular attention to the points outlined below. Please bear in mind that the readership of ChemComm is very wide ranging and the purpose of a Feature Article is to bring them up-to-date with research in a particular field. It is therefore essential that the Feature Article is clearly written, up-to-date, authoritative, and easily comprehensible to the non-specialist.

Feature articles should be written from a personal point of view, and ideally should be the first review of a new significant area, bringing together the results of various primary publications. A comprehensive review of the literature is not required, but due credit should be given to other workers in the field.
