Q How many downloads can I buy? 

A As many as you require. Downloads can be bought in multiples of 100. (If this is not suitable for your needs, please contact us.) 

Q Does RSC Select cover material from the RSC Journals Archive? 

A Yes, any journal article published from 1841 to the present day can be purchased via RSC Select 

Q How long do I have to use the downloads? 

A You have 12 months from the date your account is first activated to use the downloads. 

Q What happens if I use all my downloads before the 12 months is up? 

A When you have used 80% of your downloads, you will be alerted and invited to purchase additional downloads. 

Q Will I be able to view the HTML version of the articles? 

A Downloads will be available as PDF only. 

Q Will I be charged VAT? 

A Yes, VAT will be applied where appropriate. 

Q Can I download book chapters? 

A RSC Select currently applies to journal articles only. 

Q Is it possible to have a report on what has been downloaded? 

A We are currently not able to provide reports on what has been downloaded.
