Sir Edward Frankland Prize Lectureship
An annual Lectureship (established through a generous gift from an anonymous donor) which includes a prize of £1000.
Awarded for meritorious contributions to pure and applied research in the field of organometallic chemistry as defined by compounds containing metal-to-carbon bonds, excluding those of boron, silicon, germanium and phosphorus. Mechanistic studies and homogeneous catalysis by transition metal complexes are, however, within the scope of the award.
No restrictions in regard to nationality and membership of the RSC is not required.
Nominations for this award will reopen on 1st September 2008. If you would like to receive a reminder email when nominations have reopened, please send an email to the Awards Administrator.
