Industrial Lectureship (RSC)


Established through financial support from the Groups and Regions of the Industry and Technology Forum, as well as a number of companies, this award aims to recognise major contributions to, and innovations in, chemical and chemical-based industry. 

Awarded in alternate years, the award is also intended to recognise the commercial, technological and managerial aspects of the development and application of chemical discovery to industry, as well as the purely scientific. 

No age, nationality or membership restrictions apply. Silver medal and £500. 

The 2008/09 winner is Professor A P Abbott (University of Leicester, UK).
